John Stevens will be offering safaris into Matusadona using M.Y. Kamba as his
base for the 2000/2001 off season.
M.Y. Kamba is a 71ft Cruiser Yacht owned by friends of John Stevens, April and
Ian Piercy. This beautifully appointed boat has three spacious cabins with two
beds in each, air conditioning and bathroom en suite. There is a large
saloon/dining area and a magnificient top deck with reclining sunbeds, ideal for
sunbathing or sleeping under the stars. The saloon, also air conditioned, has
comfortable chairs, desk space, fridge, bar, video, CD/cassette stereo, complete
with classic furnishings to give one a feeling of elegant living on a private
motor yacht. There are two tender boats which can be used for gameviewing along
the lake shore or to drop off for walking into the park. The boat can also be
used for fishing - equipment is provided. A great crew provide for every need
including first class meals which are accompanied by fine wines.
John will be able to strategically place the boat wherever he chooses,
considering the best point for gameviewing along the Matusadona Lake Shore with
easy walking access into the Park.
With the risk of rain at this time of the year the Kamba also affords
comfortable accommodation.
